Day 1 - Arrive in Srinagar
On your arrival at the Srinagar International Airport, you will be taken for a 35 minutes drive through the heart of New Srinagar city, passing the Abdullah bridge which connects the banks of the Jhelum river, visit the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar, Hazratbal Dargah Sharif, Chashma Shahi Garden, Dal Lake, Nagin Lake, Pari mahal Shankaracharya Temple. Dinner and Overnight in hotel / houseboats.
Shalimar Bagh Mughal Garden:- Shalimar Bagh is a Mughal garden in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India, linked through a channel to the northeast of Dal Lake. It also known as Shalimar Gardens, Farah Baksh, and Faiz Baksh. The other famous shoreline garden in the vicinity is Nishat Bagh, 'The Garden of Delight'.
Nishat Bagh:- Nishat Bagh is a terraced Mughal garden built on the eastern side of the Dal Lake, close to Srinagar in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is the largest Mughal garden in the Kashmir Valley . ... 'Nishat Bagh' is Urdu, and means the "Garden of Joy," "Garden of Gladness" and "Garden of Delight.
Hazratbal Masjid:- Hazratbal or Dargah, is the notified area in Downtown Srinagar situated about 10 km (6.2 mi) from city center.
Pari Mahal :- Pari Mahal or Peer Mahal, also known as The Palace of Fairies, is a seven-terraced Mughal garden located at the top of Zabarwan mountain range, overlooking the city of Srinagar and the south-west of Dal Lake in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Nigeen Lake :- Nigeen Lake is a mildly eutrophic lake located in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is sometimes considered a part of the Dal lake and is connected to it via a narrow strait. It is also connected to the Khushal Sar and Gil Sar lakes via a channel known as Nallah Amir Khan
Chashma Shahi Garden:- Chashme Shahi or Chashma i Shahi, also called Chashma Shahi, is one of the Mughal gardens built in 1632 AD around a spring by Ali Mardan Khan, a governor of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as per the orders of the Emperor, as a gift for his elder son Prince Dara Shikoh.
Dal Lake:- Dal is a lake in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is an urban lake, which is the second largest in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It is integral to tourism and recreation in Kashmir and is named the "Lake of Flowers", "Jewel in the crown of Kashmir" or "Srinagar's Jewel".
Shankaracharya Temple:- Shankaracharya Temple or Jyeshteshwara Temple is a Hindu temple situated on top of the Shankaracharya Hill on the Zabarwan Range in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is at a height of 1,000 feet above the valley floor and overlooks the city of Srinagar.
Day 2 - Srinagar to Gulmarg
After breakfast, proceed towards Gulmarg. Enroute you get to see the beautiful Tangmarg town and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. Arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon and check in at the hotel. Later, begin a short tour, boarding the Gondola cable car system (at your own cost). Descend back to Gulmarg after an hour and later indulge in some horse-riding (at your own cost).
Day 3 - Gulmarg To Pahalagram
After breakfast, we drive to Pahalgam. .En-route visit Saffron fields, Anantnag Sulphur Springs. Drive through the green pine forest and along the Lidder River. In Pahalgam, visit Betaab Valley and Chandanwari as well as take a horse riding trip to Baisaran meadows (at your own cost). After sightseeing around the mountain valley for most of the day, we will drive back to Srinagar and Overnight at hotel.
Aru Vally:- Aru is a tourist spot in the Anantnag District of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is located around 12 km from Pahalgam, 11 km upstream from the Lidder River. Noted for its scenic meadows, lakes and mountains, it is a base camp for trekking to the Kolhoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake.
Betab Vally:- Betaab valley is situated at a distance of 15 kilometers from Pahalgam in Anantnag district in India's northernmost union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The valley got its name from the Sunny Deol-Amrita Singh hit debut film Betaab.
Chandanwari:- is famous for being the base, or starting point, to the famous Hindu pilgrimage site, Shri Amarnath Yatra, which starts in June and ends in August. It is situated at an elevation of 2,895 meters, and located about 16 kilometers from Pahalgam. If you are looking for an offbeat tourist place in Jammu and Kashmir where you can relax in the company of nature, then you should visit this place.
Day 4 - Pahalagram - Srinagar
After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar. Later drive for an hour of Shikara ride in the Dal Lake. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel. Day 5 - Sommarg Excusion
After breakfast, drive to Sonmarg. Enroute Kheer Bhawani Darshan. On arrival at Sonmarg, visit Thajjwas glacier (at your own cost) . Return back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
OPTIONAL - One can enjoy Horse ride at Sonmarg.
Day 6 - Depart Srinagar
